We are looking for experienced and highly motivated Senior Ecologists (or Ecologists close to that level), with a minimum Level 1 bat survey licence and Level 1 GCN survey licence, to join the Delta-Simons ecology team and bolster our ability to deliver projects across the North, Midlands and South.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and managing ecological surveys and associated mitigation from inception through to completion of projects.
  • Undertaking extended phase 1 habitat surveys/ UK Habs surveys to accurately describe and map habitats and assess their potential to support notable/protected species.
  • Undertaking phase 2 surveys for legally protected species.
  • Producing a range of ecological reports to a high standard.
