We are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join the team here at Inspired Ecology on a permanent basis. Duties will include undertaking ecological walkover surveys and surveys for protected species. Many protected species surveys (particularly for bats and great crested newt) will be undertaken at unsocial hours, so applicants must be willing to work flexibly and outside of normal office hours (09:00-17:00). The post-holder will drive to and from survey sites in their own car. Report-writing skills are essential as the post-holder will produce a variety of different types of reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs), Habitats Regulations Assessments (HRAs), Biodiversity Management Plans (BMPs), Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Assessments, and Construction Environmental Manag
