The Environmental Planner (Assessment and Strategy) Officer plays a key role in the management and delivery of BMCC’s Environmental Impact Assessment Processes and in ensuring the integration of Corporate and Environmental Strategies and objectives into the design and delivery of Council projects and programs. The role also builds collaborative partnerships across the council to implement key environmental strategies such as BMCC’s Water Sensitive City Strategic Plan and Biodiversity Strategy in support of a sustainable and environmentally sensitive “City within a World Heritage Area” with a particular focus on the promotion of WSUD. Applicants require relevant environmental, engineering and/or planning qualifications and experience in environmental impact asses
