Freshwater Habitats Trust is now recruiting a Senior Freshwater Invertebrate Biologist based in our Oxford office. The post is initially a 1-year full time contract, with the expectation of conversion to a permanent position for suitable applicants. The successful candidate will primarily work with senior project staff undertaking site, landscape and catchment-wide research and survey work on a wide range of freshwater habitats including streams, rivers, ponds and ditches. We are looking for a person with demonstrable experience of identifying freshwater invertebrates at species level. They will be responsible for undertaking invertebrate surveys using standard methods (e.g. National Pond Survey, RIVPACS/RICT), sorting samples and identification at both family and species level, follow
