Are you passionate about tackling climate change and biodiversity declines? Are you an effective convener, coordinator, advocate and policy campaigner? If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you at the RSPB. Through generous funding from the European Climate Foundation, we are advertising for a Senior Policy Officer to join our Land, Seas and Climate Policy team, on a 2 year contract. Your role would be to develop and drive forward an advocacy campaign to highlight the risks of bioenergy and BECCS (Bioenergy with carbon capture and storage) to the climate and to biodiversity, and the choices that UK decision makers need to make to limit them.
