The International importance of many of RSPB nature reserves for the habitats and species they support means that they have been designated as Natura 2000 European protected areas (Special Areas of Conservation and Special Protection Areas). However, some features require additional conservation management to improve their condition for nature. This project will aim to achieve Favourable conservation status of a number of key Natura Habitats and Species on RSPB reserves across Scotland. This exciting project, involves 11 conservation management projects across 15 Natura sites and 23 Natura features ranging from the salt marshes of the Cromarty and Solway to the montane willow scrub
