We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Ranger within our Biodiversity Team in Turangi/Taupo. Our work is diverse and home to significant biodiversity, historic and recreation values. These include nationally significant populations of threatened fauna (matuku, powelliphanta, whio, skinks/geckos, black-billed gulls), and flora (seven threatened species including dactylanthus populations). Our Management ecosystems include unique wetland, frost flats, geothermal/volcanic, tussock land and podocarp/beech ecosystems. On a personal note, the Central North Island is a great place to live, especially for outdoor enthusiasts!
