The Senior Rewilding Ranger role will ensure the estate is managed in accordance with the Dundreggan Management Plan, leading and ensuring delivery of all rewilding projects, especially forest and peatland restoration as well as planning and delivering new pioneering work. Monitoring the effectiveness of deer management and other interventions are within the scope of this post as is acting as the public face of the estate. The post is accountable for all estate management planning and delivery, the performance of the wider estate team, all Health and Safety aspects of land-based work and ensuring Trees for Life’s policies and procedures (e.g. lone working) are applied by the team. They are also responsible for the Dundreggan estate budget and all equipment used in land management.
