Building on your technical knowledge and experience in planning, there will be opportunities for you to promote positive conservation outcomes through RMA processes across Aotearoa.  You'll contribute to planning and major consenting projects nationally, spanning across the marine, freshwater and terrestrial domains, to protect indigenous biodiversity.  Your expertise will be called on to give advice to the Minister of Conservation and the Director-General, as well as presenting expert evidence at council and Environment Court hearings. You'll work as part of a supportive team and with DOC's technical and legal experts to fulfil DOC's role of advocating for the preservation and protection of natural resources. You'll often lead projects that require the coordination of inputs from DOC
