A highly experienced Senior Scientist position, responsible for planning, overseeing, and assessing vegetation management activities throughout the District.  The incumbent will have responsibility for overseeing, directing, or guiding work of lower level scientist and technical support staff. This position will plan, develop, and carry out projects involving moderately complex scientific processes in support of vegetation management initiatives.  Specifically, the position will administer the tree management program District-wide, including working directly with field station staff to develop and execute the annual tree management plans; prepare required work orders and reports for planning; implement and document tree management activities; write qualifying and quantifying statement
