Context: Historically, we have focused on protecting wildlands and endangered species like the grizzlies, wolves, and salmon that live there.  In recent years, the Sierra Club is leading the charge to move away from the dirty fossil fuels that cause climate disruption and toward a clean energy economy, including thinking seriously about innovating Idaho’s transportation system. Scope: Intern will work with Sierra Club volunteers to organize community dialogues with different neighborhoods and areas of Ada County, focused on transportation issues.  Community dialogues should lead to an increased number of engaged volunteers willing to be ready to engage with local citizens and in creating multimedia artifacts for communication dissemination.
