The Sierra Institute for Community and Environment is hiring an Stewardship Forester. We're looking for a talented individual to support the organization’s work to improve forest health through sustainable forest management, including developing silvicultural treatments, conducting environmental analysis work, and overseeing field components of stewardship and restoration projects. The Stewardship Forester reports to the Collaborative Forestry Program Manager and may supervise seasonal staff members, as well as grants management, budgeting, and reporting.  The Stewardship Forester will be required to balance a variety of project work, while ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet the organization’s triple bottom line objectives: environmental, economic, and social.
