The Special Use Assistant will work in cooperation with the Great Basin Institute and the US Forest Service (USFS), Sierra National Forest to support forest health initiatives through the administration of special use authorizations. Scope of this position includes the review of master special use permit (MSUP) packages, validation of projects for utility companies, and field work as needed to conduct monitoring under the Operations and Maintenance Plan (OMP).
