We are looking to recruit a Site Ranger to support the Council in the delivery of its Biodiversity Duty by enabling access to nature, in particular with regard to Coastal and Estuary sites. The post holder will provide uniformed presence through regular patrolling of Council owned or managed outdoor visitor facilities, beaches, country park and picnic areas, protected areas, recreational areas, promoted routes and public rights of way to ensure high standards are maintained. They will be expected to be competent in practical urban land management and countryside skills and able to work on own as well as part of a team.
