The post holder will work under the direction of the Animal Management Centre (AMC) Exotics Head in undertaking the husbandry, management, and development of the teaching collection of exotic mammals (red pandas, black lemurs, meerkats, skunk, raccoon dogs, tenrecs, gundi, with marmosets and more planned for 2020). They will also help cover companion mammals, paddock animals and birds as needed. Working as part of a small team, the post holder will provide supervision and support to students in practical husbandry sessions, ensuring provision is learner-focused, to achieve exemplary standards in animal care, teaching and the learner experience.
