The Saint Louis Zoo is seeking an applicant to assist the WildCare Spring Peeper Program Coordinator acoustically survey and monitor the watersheds located within the Interstate 270 beltway for breeding populations of Spring Peepers (Pseudacris crucifer), Western Chorus Frogs (Pseudacris triseriata), and Cricket Frogs (Acris crepitans blanchardi). This position will require occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with acoustic monitoring and educational outreach programing. This includes the installation and weekly monitoring of wildlife acoustic equipment, analyzing audio recordings, and the creation of visual products and educational documents such as maps, larvae field guides and more.  Assist with educational trainings both onsi
