Summary
Based at the Foundation’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., the Staff Scientist – Freshwater Conservation will be a key member of the Science and Evaluation team and will work to ensure that NFWF’s conservation efforts directed at freshwater species and habitats have a robust science foundation and are designed to achieve measurable conservation outcomes. NFWF’s portfolio of freshwater programs requires a subject matter expert in freshwater ecology, management, and conservation. The position is nation-wide in scope and entails a detailed understanding of the conservation challenges faced by aquatic species in more than one region of the country.
