The Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Wildlife Conservation, is recruiting for an Analyst-Programmer V to be housed at the Interior and Eastern Arctic Alaska (Region III) Headquarters on College Road, adjacent to Creamer's Field State Migratory Waterfowl Refuge, in Fairbanks, Alaska. The department is seeking an individual with an interest in wildlife management and conservation with vision to lead an innovative and skilled analytical team, and who aspires to solve scientific problems and address conservation issues. The person hired to this position will actively collaborate with wildlife biologists and will directly contribute to the management and conservation of moose, caribou, Dall's sheep, bison, musk ox, grizzly bear, black bear, wolf, furbearers, and small game.
