The Stewardship Ecologist in NM (SE-NM) provides technical leadership and support to the New Mexico Field Office and plans and directs preserve management programs, ecological restoration projects and stewardship. The SE-NM addresses critical threats to natural systems and individual species, fosters cross-site learning among the conservation community, and supplies conservation planning teams with site or landscape level information relevant to the planning process
