San Juan Mountains Association (SJMA) has a long history of recreation and natural resources stewardship in Southwest Colorado. We prioritize projects with land management agencies and partners in order to promote responsible use, public education, and access throughout the region. The Stewardship Program Manager, under the supervision of the Associate Director, is responsible for managing all tasks related to SJMA’s seasonal Wilderness Crews and Forest Ambassador teams, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and mobilizing on a variety of projects.
