Intern will work with school groups both on and off-site. The intern will develop a series of two to three education kits to be used for after school programming in the Anchorage School District. The Alaska History based kits will provide activities that are educational, engaging, and fun. The intern will assist the education team in off-site educational programming via outreach to see how current kits are used at the military base, libraries, outdoors schools, and in after school programs. The intern will also assist on-site with education scavenger hunts, guided walks, public lands programs and special events.
