Hands on restoration opportunities! We are seeking two SCA interns to get their hands dirty with direct restoration of native plant habitats by assisting with our invasive plant management program for Fall, 2019.  The work will primarily focus on control of Himalayan blackberry using herbicide.  The work will mostly be carried out in the Bald Hills, an expanse of grasslands and oak woodlands, giving way to forested slopes lower in the drainage.  Control techniques will focus on the application of chemical herbicides, but will also include manual removal and the use of hand tools.
