The primary duties of the Education Program Intern will include working with a team of park rangers to assist with scheduling and conducting education programs about Chamizal National Memorial and the National Park Service mission with an emphasis on the 4th grade Every Kid In a Park (EKIP) initiative. This will involve both classroom programs at local schools and at the memorial. Other duties include assisting with Junior Ranger programs, community outreach events,  our annual Chamizal Cultural Festival in October and other special events, including the opening of our new permanent museum exhibits.
