GENERAL DESCRIPTION: In the upcoming months, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island will be launching The Streets were Paved with Gold, an arts-in-education project that encourages visitors to reflect on their personal relationship with immigration. The site will be recruiting an intern who will be assisting the Division of Interpretation (and the Division of Museum Services) cultivate visitor responses in this growing exhibit. Throughout the course of the internship, this individual will be helping to facilitate at presentations in English Language Learner (ELL) classes and at other presentations in cultural institutions in the New York City area.
