The Management and Monitoring Intern assists The Nature Conservancy with aspects of science and restoration activities on The Disney Wilderness Preserve. The Intern works with biologists, land managers and volunteers to control and map invasive plants, monitor and manage wildlife species and natural communities, conduct hydrological data collection in swamps and other wetlands, and participate in prescribed fires. This position will be based at The Nature Conservancy’s Disney Wilderness Preserve, an 11,500-acre fire-managed high quality conservation site near Kissimmee Florida.
