This internship seeks to provide work for one person to work within a team to develop and implement science-based educational programs that take place at the Desert Research Learning Center (DRLC), in Tucson, AZ. The DRLC is the science education outreach center for the National Park Service, Sonoran Desert Network, Inventory and Monitoring Program. https://www.nps.gov/im/sodn/index.htm The intern will help lead several citizen science programs, primarily the Mammal Monitoring protocol using remotely triggered wildlife cameras. This requires deploying and later retrieving cameras in the remote back-country of 3 large National Parks in Arizona.
