You will help operate the ranger station, provide visitor information and assistance, issue fishing and backcountry permits (50%), assist with front country patrol, wildlife jams and emergencies, care and feeding of sub-district livestock, and participate in area and park-wide training (40%); you will also perform resource management and assist with back country patrol and trail clearing (10%).  EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES: you will have opportunity to explore Yellowstone; learn about park back country operations, resource wildlife programs, and wildlife traffic jams (bears, elk, wolves, and bison).
