Summer Program Leaders will be in charge of one group of 10 – 15 participants for one-week sessions. Participants in the summer program range in grade from Pre-K through eighth grade. The program leader will be assigned to a particular grade band for most weeks. Leader is responsible for creating and delivering daily programming that includes tours of the Zoo, arts and crafts, recreation, and animal lessons aligning the weekly theme. Position requires prep hours prior to sessions; for each week of session, there is a full day of prep. Summer Program Leaders report to the OST Coordinator. Zoofari summer program runs from July 5th – August 26th. Must also attend orientation. Must be able to commit to at least 2 weeks.
