Sustrans Research & Monitoring Unit is responsible for providing evidence on sustainable and active travel that is transparent and authoritative and which influences and shapes policy, practice and behaviour across the UK.  We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team of analysts, researchers and evaluation specialists to deliver GIS projects for funders and with partners, to provide GIS services and training to internal teams and to ensure GIS relevant datasets are maintained and accessible.   With a good standard of education, you will have experience and a working knowledge of industry standard GIS software and its potential, experience of administrating and querying SQL databases and experience of on-line or intranet GIS tools, virtual server management and M
