Tannas Conservation Services Ltd. is looking for an Intermediate Level Vegetation and Wetland Ecologist specializing in Vegetation, Wetlands, and Biophysical Inventories. The position will be based out of Calgary, but depending on the person, we may be open to other locations. Duties: Project management, technical writing, compiling BIAs, Wetland Assessment and Impact Reports (WAIRs), writing other technical reports, field work, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams. Strong technical skills in at least one of the following are required: Wetlands, Vegetation, or Rare Plants. Skills in the following an asset: Soils, BIAs/EIAs, Regulatory Approvals, Phase 1 Assessments, Range Management, Wildlife, GIS Skills will be evaluated at the interview stage.
