An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the growth of the Monitoring Laboratories (ML) portfolio. ML are expanding their molecular biology service, looking at new tools to support environmental improvement and using environmental monitoring to support public health. This role will be the key technical link in the integrated implementation of molecular biology with the existing responsibilities of Environment Agency. The role will exploit the candidate’s expert operational knowledge of environmental molecular biology in the context of an accredited regulatory environmental laboratory and the candidate will have experience in maximising opportunities offered by new science.
