GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Regional Director, this position is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and field collection of biological, sociological, and economic data pertaining to the fisheries and ecosystem management within the San Antonio Bay Ecosystem and the near-shore waters of the Gulf of Mexico.  Provides leadership for staff and field station administration.  Performs data analysis and writes summary reports on the data collected from the ecosystem.  Develops a thorough knowledge and understanding of the ecosystem.
