The Education & Communications Fellows program provides young professionals just starting their careers with practical, hands-on experience in program planning and coordination, communications, and interpretation/environmental education, based on Aldo Leopold’s land ethic philosophy. The program also fosters a better understanding of land ethics, revealing the necessity to reach across differences to find and foster common ground, and build care for land and communities in equal measure. The outdoor classroom for this experience is the Aldo Leopold Foundation headquarters at the Leopold Center in Baraboo, WI.
