DESCRIPTION The Benioff Ocean Initiative (www.boi.ucsb.edu) at the University of California, Santa Barbara, seeks an Associate Specialist or Specialist to generate positive environmental change in the oceans. The Benioff Ocean Initiative is an applied research center at UC Santa Barbara that aims to leverage the power of marine science to solve ocean problems and inspire the replication of these successes. The Associate Specialist/Specialist will be required to communicate and collaborate with other research scientists who will be recruited to study ocean issues within working groups.
