Purpose: To assist with promoting the importance of engaging in policy-making to members of the Society. This is an excellent opportunity for the post holder to develop a wide range of skills including science communication, policy awareness, writing for different audiences, networking and event management. There is scope for refining the tasks undertaken according to the experience and skills the intern would like to develop. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Policy Intern will be an integral part of the BES External Affairs team, and will: • Lead on a specified project as part of the policy team’s work programme.
