The Great Basin Institute, in cooperation with the USFS- Tahoe National Forest, is recruiting a Botany Technician to support vegetation surveys on the forest. The Botany Technician will be responsible for coordinating with USFS staff to conduct botanical surveys to locate populations of sensitive species in the vicinity of designated project sites. The goal is to establish distributional occurrences of targeted species/populations within and around project sites and access routes. These findings will inform consideration of measures for mitigating impacts to targeted plant species and vegetation communities associated with habitat of designated wildlife.
