The Land Between is hiring six summer Conservation technician positions to support conservation across cottage country. Positions are in Haliburton, Peterborough, and Lennox-Addington/Frontenac areas. These roles support fish and wildlife research specifically related to snakes, turtles and birds at risk, and lake health; the support and facilitate landowner engagement and volunteers to become involved in species monitoring and citizen science, they involve desiging and delivering restoration and conservation projects, involve children and youth outdoor education and public interpretation and events, and they may involve using Geographic Information Systems.
