ABOUT THE LAND TRUST The Land Trust is a Registered Charity with headquarters in Warrington and operating nationally.  We are leading the way in establishing new, sustainable methodologies for the management of open space, on behalf of and in partnership with local communities.  We are responsible for the management of over 60 sites around the UK, many of which have been restored from industrial use and range from country parks, to Sites of Special Scientific Interest, to urban pocket parks and listed buildings.  We work with local partners, such as Groundwork, the Wildlife Trusts and The Conservation Volunteers, to manage sites on the ground and liaise with communities.  Our primary aim is the successful delivery of our five charitable objectives:  environment; community cohesion;
