Position Overview The HIHWNMS Maui Program Associate works collaboratively as part of a team led by the HIHWNMS Program Specialist to develop and coordinate programing for the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation in support of the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whales National Marine Sanctuary, primarily at Visitors’ Center at Kihei Maui. The HIHWNMS Maui Program Associate works with government, community, and corporate partners to plan, coordinate, and facilitate volunteers’ activities and supports the coordination and implementation of education programs and events at the Visitors’ Center.
