This is a time of immense change, when the laws protecting our environment and wildlife are at risk. People across society are suffering more than ever from lack of access to, and connection with, nature. People spend significantly less time in nature than they did a generation ago, and encounter wildlife less often. We are determined to empower our supporters and the next generation to turn this around – to lead nature’s recovery and reconnect us to the natural world. We will put a wildlife-rich natural world at the heart of education and learning for all. People of all ages and all backgrounds will have the chance to learn about wildlife and the value of the natural world because these will be central to the education system. The Wildlife Trusts are a grassroots movement of 850
