The post of Rural Development Land Management Officer will be responsible for delivering the activities set out under the Rural Development Local Action Plan. The activities will develop local capacity in land management, encourage rural economic development and oversee the delivery of land management activities that form part of the Eastern Valleys Upland Integrated Natural Resource Management Plan. The officer will work closely with farmers, land owners, local producers, volunteer groups and Communities First Teams from Torfaen`s rural wards and cross boundary partners.
