Under the direction of the Assistant Park Superintendent, this position is responsible for the proper operation, maintenance and repair of the water and waste water systems at Pedernales Falls State Park. Responsible for regulatory compliance in all utility operations to include completion of required forms and reports as required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD). Conducts water laboratory testing procedures and general maintenance and cleaning of water facilities. Performs all phases of maintenance and repairs to other park facilities, equipment, grounds, and electrical and plumbing systems utilizing equipment such as hand tools, power tools, mowers, tractors, and other machinery.
