This project, which is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund allows for two comprehensive 52-week paid traineeships, one hosted at Bog Meadows Nature Reserve and one at St James Community Farm. There will be opportunities for the trainees to cross over and work on both sites. This will include training in short courses and a full year of hands-on work experience, which will open up the opportunity for a career in nature conservation/ horticulture/ farming. Essential Criteria
  1. A passion and enthusiasm for working in the natural environment to conserve wildlife/ or to work in a farm setting, working with animals, or in food production.
  2. A willingness and desire to learn new skills, welcome supervision, and advice.
