Responsibilities This position is with the U.S. Geological Survey, Great Lakes Science Center located in Cortland, New York.  Specific duties will include: --Developing, coordinating, leading, and supervising a broad and complex fisheries science program with special emphasis on innovative scientific efforts to support a relatively new cross-jurisdictional consensus to advance native fish restoration in the Great Lakes, specifically coregonines (ciscoes and lake whitefishes). --Managing the Eastern Branch of Native Fish Restoration; identifying broad research objectives and priorities for Branch's research program; supervising employees; ensuring delivery of required reports and products; optimizing productivity and allocation of resources; ensuring a balanced branch budget. --P
