Make the beach and marsh your new outdoor classroom on a Georgia barrier island perfect for the outdoor enthusiast at the Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island! As part of the University of Georgia and Georgia 4-H, the Burton 4-H Center provides high-quality day and residential environmental educational experiences. Seasonal Environmental Educators will teach hands-on day and evening classes to predominantly 3rd-8th grade students. Most classes are taught outside with content ranging from beach, forest and marsh ecology, herpetology, ornithology, seining, invertebrates, dissections and more.
