Unexpected Wildlife Refuge, incorporated in 1968, is located in southern New Jersey near Vineland, within easy driving distance of Atlantic City and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It comprises 767 acres of pristine pine lands, forest, fields and bogs. It is home to virtually every animal and plant indigenous to southern New Jersey. We are not a wildlife rehabilitation facility, rather a place where wildlife can live freely and naturally without fear of being harmed at the hands of human beings.
