JOB DESCRIPTION: GIS and Data management. Including but not limited to: Use various software to develop, populate and maintain large datasets. Assist in importation and maintenance of data into OSBS online data module/cloud, ensuring QA/QC, compliance with metadata standards, as well as archive and preserve integrity of incoming data. Provides GIS and technical support to stations staff and users. Compares legal survey documents with current GIS information. Preparation of formal maps for presentations, displays, staff and user needs. Development and presentation of summary statistics and analysis to support researcher and staff needs. Assist with establishment and implementation of metadata standards Assist with conversion of OSBS legacy data into data module/cloud format S
