Description The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia (www.vet.uga.edu) is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor for the Southeastern Cooperative Wildlife Disease Study (SCWDS) located in Athens, Georgia. This position has responsibilities in undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, and service. A research focus on the ecological and epidemiological effects of climate on existing and emerging vector-borne diseases involving wildlife is required, including the development of surveillance systems involving wildlife species. A strong multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach involving other University of Georgia researchers, and outside institutions and agencies will be necessary for success.
