The University of Georgia Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant program seeks a Marine Economics Specialist with broad interest in marine and coastal resource economics, policy and management. This position will provide statewide leadership and coordination for developing, maintaining, and evaluating a comprehensive marine economics extension and applied research program that serves Georgia. Primary targeted audiences include, but are not limited to, commercial and recreational fishermen, marine aquaculture operators, state and federal resource managers, seafood dealers, marine-related businesses and trade organizations, local governments, and interested public.
