The role The Arid Zone Monitoring project aims to develop a coordinated monitoring program for threatened vertebrates, their threats and the effectiveness of management across arid and semi-arid Australia. The project officer will play a key role in the delivery of this project, helping to foster relationships with project partners across Australia (Indigenous and non-Indigenous), facilitating the collation of existing data from these project partners, and contributing to developing a framework for a national database that will support future data depositions and reporting. The person Applicants should possess qualifications and/or experience in conservation or environmental management.
